Three men died as a result of injuries they sustained in a fiery motor vehicle crash along Marescaux Road near Mico University College in St Andrew early on Sunday morning.
The deceased are Tavaughn Miller, who is said to have been in his 20s; 19-year-old Dante Francis, both of Regent Street in Kingston; and 33-year-old Andre Wright of Anderson Road, Kingston.
Initial reports are about 1:45 am, a Nissan motorcar with seven occupants on board was being driven along the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into an embankment.
The vehicle then reportedly burst into flames.
The mangled and burnt-out remains of a motorcar that crashed on Marescauz Road in lower St Andrew on Sunday morning, resulting in the deaths of three of the occupants.
Passers-by were able to remove all seven occupants from the vehicle.
The injured persons were transported to the hospital, where the three men were pronounced dead and the four other individuals were hospitalized for treatment.
