Alleged drug mule reportedly passes out over $1m worth of cocaine

Detectives assigned to the Police Narcotics Division arrested and charged a man for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston on Sunday, March 3.
Charged is 50-year-old Oral Willis of St Ann’s Bay, St Ann.
He has been charged with the offences of:
• Possession of cocaine,
• Dealing in cocaine; and
• Importing cocaine
Reports are that during security checks, Willis was stopped and interviewed and based on his responses, he was detained.
Willis was subsequently taken to a medical facility, where he was examined.
He subsequently expelled 102 homemade capsules containing a white substance resembling cocaine, which collectively weighed approximately 2.2 pounds, and has an estimated street value of J$1.1 million.
He is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday, March 13.
